Who is Adrian Sandu?

I am a creative designer from Iasi, Romania and for the last several years, Trident Design has been my presence on the Internet. I specialize in website design and development, bringing together in synergy the creativity of the artist with the analytical mindset of the coder. This is one of my greatest assets, because I understand best both sides of the coin and I am able to approach a project from various directions.

I started on this career path in 2004, after I graduated from the Faculty of Computer Science. Over this period I've worked in a few local agencies and as a freelancer. I was involved in projects for a wide range of clients, from major institutions - such as the Deutsche Börse Group - to non-profit organizations or individuals.

At this moment I am working full-time for the Romanian branch of Webfusion Ltd., as Front-End Developer. Also, from time to time, I take on small side-job gigs, to keep myself in tune with the market.

Wordpress Herald

Wordpress Herald is one of my pet projects - a site dedicated to the most popular blogging engine in the world. It aims to be one of the most comprehensive collections of WordPress-related resources, as well as my blogging sandbox.

7touch Group

7Touch Group is a convenience innovations company that develops mobile and web applications that make life easier. It was my pleasure to bring a fresh, new look and feel on their website and corporate blog.

Custos Technologies

Custos Technologies, Inc. is an innovative security company that targets large organizations worldwide that are vulnerable to stolen computer assets or responsible for proprietary data, public or governmental. The project has been discontinued though, right before live launch.

Genetibase

I dare say I have a very special relationship with Anthony Nystrom, the CEO of Genetibase, Inc. It all started with a simple job to customize a flash template from Template Monster (which, by the way, never got live). Today, after more than three years, I'm proud to say that I've performed the last two redesigns of the company's website and word on the streets is that a third one is not too far away.

"Costache Negruzzi" Highschool Iasi

Founded in 1895, as a "model" boarding school, "Costache Negruzzi" Highschool is one of the most prestigios educational units in Iasi (and in the entire country). It's also the place where I spent 8 years of my life, for my secondary and high school studies.

Therefor it was an honor for me to work on the new website when Ayon Logic stepped up to the challenge of bringing a century old highschool into the 3rd milenium. The chosen solution was built around Expression Engine, to allow the client complete freedom in managing the look and the content, without having to maintain a complicated code structure.

Unfortunately my logo proposal got rejected by the school board and over the time the client messed around with the site look and feel. The "View project" link on the right displays the original design - the one that got implemented in the first place.

Tycoon Publishing LLC

Tycoon Publishing LLC is a financial publishing company located in Delray Beach, Florida. I got the challenge to unify the logos for their online services in one big happy family.
